Pregnancy Update

Wow! This pregnancy has flown by!! I can not believe that I am now due in 4 and a half short weeks!!

How far along: I am now 35 weeks!

Size of the baby: The doctor thinks he weighs around 5 and a half pounds.

Total weight gain: Really? Do I have to put that? For the record - 22 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Still loving my workout pants and I could live in my pajama pants. I wear maternity jeans and pants, but am still just wearing a size bigger in tops.

Gender and Name: BOY! His name will be Maddox. We have loved that name for five years and Maddox was the name we had picked out for Kinsley if she was a boy. Grayson and Kinsley both agreed on Maddox and so it has stuck, which I love. We can't find that perfect middle name and are open to suggestions. I would really love for his middle name to be a family name, but the selections are limited and don't really flow. The kids both like Chase for a middle name. We also like Lee, Luke, James and Ryan. Hopefully, we will know it when we lay eyes on him.

Movement: He likes to move at night when I sit down. I love to feel him first thing in the morning too. He has the hiccups when we wake up and sometimes twice during the day. His feet are deep in my side and can sometimes make me jump and catch my breath when he moves.

Sleep: I have slept pretty good until the last couple of weeks. I started having contractions in the last week that have woken me up. I sleep really good up until 4 am and then am up for the day.

Cravings: I haven't had many cravings. I went through a time where all I wanted was hot salty french fries! I do love ice cream in the evenings.

Symptoms: I have been feeling really good until the last week, when I started having contractions and some pressure. Went to the doctor on Monday to find out that I am already 2cms and 50% effaced. His head is down and causing the pressure. The doctor said he could come any day or it could be 2 weeks. It is such a hard waiting game! We can't wait to meet him and become a family of five, but we want to make sure that he has enough time so he is healthy!

28 weeks . . . 30 weeks . . . 32 weeks . . . And 34 weeks . . . Here is the completed nursery!! It was so much fun being able to decorate a room knowing that it was for a precious little boy!
The kids were a big help in getting the letters painted for me.
We are so blessed and can't wait to meet this precious baby!
