The Big 3-0!

Well it is now my turn to join the 30's club!! Kinsley and I share a birthday, so I have stopped counting my birthdays and it is all about her! This year, I am TEN times her age - which won't happen again in my lifetime - she is 3 and I'm the big 3-0!!

The morning of our birthday, Kristina, Ava, Kimi, myself and the kids met up at a bakery for a sugary treat!! It was a cute little place and the kids had fun!!

Kristina and I. She is the best sister-in-law!! We are really close and I am so thankful to have her in the family! If you haven't heard - 30 is the new 20!Me and Kimi! What a special friend! For our birthday, we went to eat at Macaroni Grill and did a little shopping! We then came home and played outside as a family and ate cake!

For Kinsley's birthday, she wanted a DORA the Explorer cake. I threw one together the night before her birthday - not my best creation, but it got the job done for my little girl!

Tieg let Kinsley know that we were going to see Dora LIVE for her birthday! She was very excited but was worried about Swiper being there. The show is tonight and I can't wait to see her reaction! And yes - Kinsley and I had matching outfits for our birthday!! Not many moms share their bithday with their daugther, and I decided that I would get away with it as long as I can, because I know the day is coming when she wants to dress herself.

Precious Birthday girl!! She is such a sweet little girl and loves to play with her baby dolls, make-up, dress up, arts and crafts, and is fixing my hair as I type this.
My little buddy and I! He took a nasty fall a couple of days before this - as you can see on his forehead. Poor thing! My birthday celebrations continued for a couple of days. The Friday after my birthday, my wonderful sister (in-law) coordinated a girls night out and we had a BLAST!
Then this week, my momma and I had a day together. We had lunch, shopped, and got our nails done! She is always a big help with the kids when I have something to do and because of that, we don't get much time together without the kids, so this was a special treat!

Happy 30th! How did we get so old so fast?!?!?

I love your t-shirt! And, the good news is that you could totally pass for 20!

I also adore that you and Sissy (love the nickname!) always have matching b-day outfits. Such a cute tradition!

Enjoy this new decade--they say it's the best!
