DORA the Explorer
Tieg and I took Kinsley to the fabulous Fox Theater to see Dora the Explorer last Friday. She really wanted Dora to come to her birthday party, but I knew with her fear of costume characters that that was not a good idea. So we decided to take her to see it as her birthday present. She is very unsure and intimidated by any costume character and was very worried about seeing Swiper the Fox. The minute the show started, her eyes got really big and she started sinking further and further down in her seat. I talked to her and let her know that they were going to stay on stage and not get close to her. She then lightened up and was fine. She ended up singing all of the songs and joining in on the fun! She had a blast and it is so wonderful to see joy through a child's eyes and enjoy experiences like that with your kids. After the show, we decided to eat at the Varsity! You can't be in the city, and not enjoy some greasy onion rings and chili dogs!! Yum!! We had a great night with our little girl!! She still hasn't stopped talking about it and tells everyone about seeing Dora and of course Swiper!!

Mammarazzi got in trouble for taking pictures in the theather before the show. So these are the ones I snuck in at the end!! I'm such a dare devil!
