Thursday we headed down to the zoo, along with what felt like the rest of the state of Georgia! Ha! The weather was great and I think everyone had the same idea! We enjoyed seeing the elephants, gorillas, birds, giraffes and of course the pandas.
Maddox loved the monkeys!
The highlight (besides seeing my kids enjoy the day) was watching a baby gorilla and his/her momma. The Momma carried the baby on her back. When the momma sat down, the baby came around the momma's shoulder and started nursing. The baby then crawled in the momma's lap and went to sleep. The sweet momma gorilla just sat caressing the baby's head and holding it! It was so sweet! I could've stayed there and watched for hours!
The baby pandas were so cute holding onto each other!
Grayson has always loved animals!
Maddox had a blast petting the goats.
