The County Fair was in town at the end of September! This is a yearly tradition for my family and has been since I was a child. We loaded up and met up with Karla, John, Chad, Kristina, Nanny, Paw Paw and all the kids!
Maddox, Kinsley, Ava, Grayson, Rylee and Olivia
Our first stop, as it is every year, was to see the bulls. Unfortunately the big ones weren't there but there was a tiny baby bull for us to look at.
Maddox enjoyed "Moo-ing" at all of the cows and Paw Paw got a kick out of it!
Next stop, the 4-H Petting zoo!
Gosh, this kid is growing up!! I remember bringing him in the petting zoo as a 2 year old! Seems like yesterday! Time, please slow down!
Maddox loved all of the animals! Here he is petting a baby chick.
As you exit the petting zoo, there is a wash station and free chocolate milk!
Next up, the carousel! Maddox's first ride!
He LOVED it!
Then it was time for some Fair Food! We always eat the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church where they have the best cole slaw, beans and cornbread!
The kids were ready for some rides!
Kinsley was so sweet to ride with Maddox!
What do the parents do while the kids are on rides? Take a selfie of course! Haha!
Sweet boy loves his Daddy!
Time to Swing!
All the big kids plus Olivia on the Rocking Ship!
Time for the Roller Coaster!
Grayson was a trooper to hang with the little kids. Of course, he is big enough for the big rides, but with all the little kids there we stuck together. Plus, this momma is not ready for him to move up to the big rides.
Back to the carousel . . .
Riding with his Uncle Chad.
Then riding again with Paw Paw.
Rylee Roo on the carousel.
We walked back through the livestock building so Maddox could see the animals again. I love this picture of Grayson taking care of his little brother.
Some of the crew . . .
Love my boys!
Last stop, was the bouncy thingy!
Family Fun at the Fair!
Love my brother!
Such a fun night! It is always so cool to experience the fair with the kids, and to relive my childhood through their eyes!
Until next year . . .
