Our birthday fell on Sunday this year. Miss Priss was up bright and early ready to open her presents. She loved her new bike!
She got her first pair of real birthstone earrings from us. I think she was surprised!
We went to church and Tieg's parents came over to celebrate for lunch.
Kinsley and I had cheer pictures at 1:30. It was super hot, so when we got home, it was time for the pool. Tieg stayed home with Maddox since he was napping, and I enjoyed some time at the pool with the big kids and neighbors!
We met up with my parents for dinner. I let Kinsley choose what she wanted . . . cheese dip of course!
Maddox says La-Lo for everything. If he wants drink, food, balloon, lollipop, everything is la-lo. One of the Hispanic waiters heard him and asked if he wanted an ice cream. We explained that we couldn't quite figure out what he was saying. The worker then explained that ice-cream in Spanish is "helado." It's pronounced "eh-la-doe" so he thought Maddox was saying ice cream in Spanish. The manager immediately went to get him an ice cream. It was so sweet and thoughtful. Ice cream must have been what he was saying, because he was super excited when he got it in his hand.
The Dalton gang came over to wish us a happy birthday! My camera died as I was trying to get a picture of them. :( It was so sweet to see them on our birthday!
Enjoying her gift!
Seven? How did my baby girl turn seven this year? I can't believe how grown up she is becoming. The girl is full of energy and loves to talk! I love her sass and her joy of being care free and easy going. She is so very special to us and I love her dearly!
