We got home from Myrtle on Saturday. We unpacked, did laundry and packed again for Destin to meet up with my family! We left on a Tuesday night and arrived around 1 am! We all crashed with my entire family and we all found a place to sleep for the night until our condo was ready the next morning. The next morning, Tieg and I headed out to the sand before the rain started but we were too late . . . the rain drops had already started falling. So, all the big kids went with Nanny, Kristina, Andy and Jennifer to see Despicable Me 2.
And back at the condo playing video games and watching tv.
All of the cousins before they left for the movie . . .
At the Movies together . . . And back at the condo playing video games and watching tv.
We moved our stuff into a different condo on Wednesday and we got settled in. The next morning, we were making our plans for the day as our condo filled with water!! It was crazy - there was water coming in from all over and coming out of the bases of the walls. A crew came in to clean up as we loaded up all of our stuff to move back upstairs with the rest of the family.
It all worked out for us to be together and everyone had a place to sleep. It was great!

These two became big buddies instantly! So sweet to see Chad with a boy!
Thursday was July 4th and it was still raining so we went to Build A Bear for the youngest three grandchildren to get their special bear from Paw Paw and Nanny.
Maddox was more excited about the strollers than making a bear.
We finally picked one out and Maddox loved on him during the process.
Stuffing his bear!
And finally pushing his bear all over the store.
We went to Bayou Bill's for dinner! So yummy and a wonderful place for our big ole crowd!
Some of the crew. . .
Ocean still lookin angry and nasty!
More storms rolling in which meant that there wouldn't be fireworks for the 4th of July.
Sweet babies playing on the steps!
Some brother sister love! Andy left early so we didn't get any pics with him.
Love that Maddox is throwing up the deuces with his Paw Paw!
Finally . . . some time on the beach without rain! It sure wasn't pretty but it was time out of the condo with sand between our toes!
The boys enjoyed tossing the volleyball!
Maddox loved the sand!
And this little girl was ready to do some gymnastics on the beach.
Kinsley taught herself how to do a one handed cartwheel.
Big buddies!
Oh my! These two girls . . .
and their bodyguard!
Following his brother's footsteps . . .
Sweet boy loves the beach!
Nanny with the Reeder kids! Paw Paw missed the photo op!
Olivia and Maddox playing together.
Avery was able to stay a few extra days and it was great for him and Grayson to spend time together. They get along so great!
Here comes more rain! Time to head inside.
This was the scariest day when we all were being alerted on our phones that there were two tornadoes in the area. We had to wake Maddox up from his nap to head downstairs to safety. You could see the water spout over the ocean. It hit land about a mile from us.
So scary!
This is what most of our trip looked like - everyone piled up on the couch!
My sweet brother!
At the end of the day, it was nice to be away and get time with family. We all live very close but we really don't see each other as much as I would like. So it was nice to be away without distractions to just be with each other, even if it was indoors and not in the beautiful sunshine!
It was definitely a trip to remember!
