Book Of Honor

The kids' school teaches from the book "The Seven Habits of Happy Kids."  The seven habits are: Be Proactive, Sharpen the Saw, Think Win-Win, Start with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Synergize, and Seek first to Understand then to be Understood.   When students practice these habits on a daily basis without having to be reminded, they get the privilege of signing The Book of Honor.  The book of Honor is kept in the front office and the kids get to sign with a gold pen.  They get their name called on the announcements and get to get recognized by the principal.  It is a huge honor and the kids get recognized at a ceremony at the end of the year.  Kinsley was the first Kindergartener to sign the book of honor.  Grayson signed the book of honor a week after Kinsley.  Unfortunately, I took Kinsley's picture with my phone and it accidentally got deleted.  :(
Grayson's teacher gave me the heads up that he was getting to sign the book of honor, so I surprised him with my camera and this is the look I got when he saw me . . .
So Proud of our kids for being great leaders in their school and classrooms.
