Maddox and Aiden

Erin and I were friends in high school. She was always there when I needed to talk and I was confident that she would keep our talks only between us. She is a Godly woman and a wonderful wife and mommy. We reconnected several years ago when we started going to the same church. Erin has a little boy that is Kinsley's age, and a daughter that is two years younger. We always had talked about having a third baby. Tieg and I went to church one morning ready to tell our friends that we were expecting. Erin sang that morning and I met her in the lobby after the service. She said, "Well we are having a third!" I then said, "We are Too!" We were both thrilled for each other and so excited to share in this journey together! I was due on the 24th and she was due the 25th! We went to lunch on Jan. 20th and that is when I started having contractions right in the middle of us eating. We kept in touch to check on each other through out the rest of the pregnancy.
Here we are in high school . . . I am the second from the left and Erin is on the end standing up. Here we are on Homecoming court our Senior year. Erin is in the blue dress right next to me.
And here we are in the hospital together with our babies. Erin delivered Aiden on Feb. 13th and Maddox was born on the 14th.
Maddox and AidenWe had to switch babies so I could see what it felt like to hold an average 7 lb. babe. I told Erin her baby had a neck and mine just had rolls!
