Memorial Day

Memorial Day started out with the Dacula Memorial Day Parade!! We enjoy this parade each year and it is such a moving tribute to the ones who have served and/or are currently serving our country.

My Dad was a Marine, so I always enjoy seeing the men in blue.
This is always one of my favorites. A live replica of the Iwo Jima. So cool! After the parade, we were off to the Gravitts' house for some swimming and a cookout!

We closed out the night with a cookout at Grandy and Papa's house too! A wonderful family day!
