For the end of the year program, the school did a program called "It's a Small World." They sang lots of songs and the program included everything that they had learned through the year. It was precious, precious, precious!! I was the proud mommy of Miss Liberty. Her part was, "I am Miss Liberty. I stand in New York Harbor." She did Awesome!!
When we got home that night, I asked her if she was nervous speaking in front of that many people. She said,"No, but my heart was beating really fast."
Here are the PRECIOUS ladies that run the school!! I really want to be Mrs. Mason when I grow up! She runs the school and is the teacher of the kindergarten class. She lives right next to the school, so she took the kids to her house to practice for the program so she could play the piano. She has a garden in her backyard, so she took the kids over to the garden to teach them about the vegetables. Kinsley came home one day with a freshly picked turnip. Mrs. Mason runs a hayride in October with all kinds of things set up and real people in the fields playing different roles - one is a Native American in a teepee and one is a scarecrow. She was up at 5 am the week of Thanksgiving making tiki bread for all of the kids. I'm telling you, this school is amazing!! Mrs. Mason runs to local elementary schools in the morning to take kids to school and she is back in the van in the afternoons to pick kids up to keep them for after school. I really don't know how this woman does it all!
Mrs. Boswell with Ms. Liberty!
We couldn't have asked for a better program for our little girl!! She was LOVED and she Learned!!
