Valentine's Day Part 5

So, the Thursday before Valentine's Day is an ordinary morning - rush rush to get breakfast made, lunches packed, kids dressed and to school. In the rush of the morning, Tieg is headed off to work but before he leaves he puts his arms around me and tells me to be ready at 5:00 that he will be there to pick me up for a night out. He said he had childcare taken care of and not to worry about anything. Well, the day went a little crazy when I took my car for the emissions test and it failed. Then I get a knock at the door and it was a man from the county telling me that we had a water leak in our front yard and he was there to repair it, and we would be without water for a while. The good news is that I had already taken my shower. Then at 3:00 I had to rush to Buford to take Kinsley to the doctor because she had been running a fever for four straight days and wasn't getting better, so I took her to the doctor at the last minute.

Needless to say, after all of these events from my day, I was going to need the night out! I made it home from the doctor at 4:45 and was ready for my surprise night.

We headed to the 1818 Club for dinner. It was very nice but Tieg wouldn't tell me where we were going next. He told me that we were going to a Valentine's dance which I could tell he was joking. We get in the car after dinner and he pulls out of the parking space and pulls back in and says, "We're here." We were right in front of the Gwinnett Arena which meant we were going to the Brad Paisley concert!! I was soooo excited!! I had been wanting to go but he told me that it didn't work out to get tickets. What a wonderful surprise! It was an INCREDIBLE concert!! We had a lot of fun! Darius Rucker Brad Paisley
