Big Girl Talk

Here is how the conversation went tonight with me and my little "big" girl tonight:

Me: Hey sissy! Karla is having a baby shower at work tomorrow! Would you like to go?
K: I have to work.
Me: Oh really! Where do you work?
K: Dacula High School
Me: Really? What do you do there?
K: I just get papers ready and stuff.
Me: Do you think you can have the day off tomorrow to go to the shower?
K: Let me call my boss.
Me: Okay
K: (Picks up an old cell phone, flips it open) and says Hey boss. Can I have tomorow off so I can go to my aunt's baby shower?
She closes the phone and says, I can go. My boss said I can have the day off.

She is a mess! Seriously! What big talk coming from my little girl! She is growing up so fast!!
