Smiling Eyes

Kinsley had her Thanksgiving celebration at school and her Indian name was Smiling Eyes. I couldn't agree more . . . her name fit her! She enjoyed her feast but refused to try the turkey. I was reminded on this day how lucky I am to have such a wonderful and caring school for her! I walked in to drop her off and the smell of cooking filled the air. Ms. Mason the owner of the school met me at the door. She had been up since 5 am to make 300 pieces of tiki bread for the kids. She loves her job and goes above and beyond for the children. She opened up the oven and let me have the first piece! I love her!! The tiki bread is sort of like cornbread or hush puppies with a little added ingredients. She gave me the recipe and I look forward to trying to make it next year for Thanksgiving. I'm sure it won't be as good as hers, but I'll give it a try.

Mrs. Boswell with her sweeties! We are Thankful for a wonderful school and an incredible teacher!!
