Caterpillars

Back in the spring the kids and I found several caterpillars. I'm not a big fan of critters but I love caterpillars! We made a home for them in a tupperware bowl and put a stick, some leaves and a little cap of water. Within a couple of days, they formed their chrysalis' and then we waited and waited. One morning I went to check on them and this is what I found . . .

We took the bowl outside and the moth/butterfly fluttered away! It was a great experience and we loved seeing the transformation!
