We went down to Destin a couple of weeks ago and had a good time. Tieg is always extremely busy working during this time of year so the kids and I headed to the beach for a weekend. My mom, Nana, Kristina, her mom and Ava also went along. It was a nice getaway but the weather wasn't great. The first day we got out on the beach and five minutes later is was pouring down rain. The second day was awesome and we got out on the beach for most of the day. Our last and final day the sun was shining but the wind was blowing and it was so chilly. We stayed out as long as we could. That night we took the kids to Build A Bear and to Hard Rock cafe for dinner. I think the hightlight of the trip for the kids was getting to swim in the pool. We are so ready for summer when we can swim! They had a lot of fun and it was nice to get away for a couple of days.
