New Years Day

After the race New Year's Eve, I came home and started preparing lunch for New Year's Day. My mom has always made collard greens and black eye peas for lunch on January 1st! This year she was on a trip so it was up to me to carry on the tradition. It was the first time I've ever made collard greens and boy were they good!! Tieg's sister, Christy and her husband Matt were in town from South Carolina, so we had our traditional lunch over at Tieg's parent's house. It was a fun day spent with family! While the kids had fun with Uncle Matt . . . Tieg and I had a little fun of our own . . . a fun photoshoot! I have never laughed so hard!
