Well if you know me well then you know how much I have wanted to take the kids to Disney! We were planning to go this past October and it didn't work out and we kept talking about it and tried to find a time to go. On Christmas morning, after all the presents were opened and everything was settled down, Tieg had the kids and myself sit down so he could present the last gift of the day. He explained to the kids that I have always gotten a special present every Christmas since we have been together and now it was their turn to receive that special present. I had no idea what he was talking about until I saw what the kids opened . . . Here's the back ground - when we started dating, he gave me a Winnie the Pooh and Tigger snowglobe for Christmas every year. Tieg's sisters nicknamed him Tigger and it then got shortened to Tieg, so there is the significance in the Pooh/Tigger snowglobes. Okay, onto the story - He had Grayson open his and it was a Toy Story snowglobe. Kinsley opened hers and it was a Cinderella snowglobe. I thought it was very sweet and special since we had just seen Disney on Ice and those were their favorite characters. My present was a little different and the tag said To: My Princess From: Your Frog
Well, my present was a Disney World picture frame and inside was our confirmation for a trip that he had planned! I was so excited - I couldn't speak - I just sat there and cried! He has planned the whole trip - reservations for a Princess Lunch, Dinner/shows with the characters, and the park visits!
He is a wonderful husband and Daddy and I look forward to our first Disney experience as a family!
