Sweet girl! I often wonder how many miles I have rocked my babies in this rocking chair. We received it as a gift from Tieg's parents when I was pregnant with Grayson. I remember rocking in it every night before bed dreaming of the day I would be rocking our baby in it. Now they are five and three and don't need to be rocked anymore. They are growing up so fast and I will be so sad when it comes time to put away the rocking chair. I want my babies to stay little!
A while back, I told Grayson that he is growing so fast, that he needed to stay little. He looked at me and said, "But Mom it's my responsibility to get bigger. That's just how God made me." It was so sweet!

I have that same exact rocker. LOVE it! Love that it reclines :-)
I remember both of your babies being born just like yesterday. I can't believe they are growing up so fast either. I still rock mine and remind them of the times we spent together in that chair. They love to hear stories about it!
That is so sweet! She looks so comfy and cute!
I used to rock in the chair that's in Ty's room long before he was born, and then I rocked him to sleep every night for about 13 months. Then, suddenly, he "outgrew" being rocked. Still makes me sad. I sometimes wish I could go back and rock that baby boy just one more time...
But, G is right. It's their responsibility to grow up.
I hate responsibility.
