My Daddy

Update Update: We are all breathing a sigh of relief . . . Dad's test results came back fine and it is just a fatty tumor!! Praise Jesus! Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers! He will now have surgery to remove the entire mass. Please continue praying that all goes well with his surgery! Thank you again!

Update: Thank you all so much for your prayers! Dad's procedure went well today. However, we won't know any results until Monday. Dad thought that they would take a biopsy today and test it and then proceed to take the entire mass out if it was benign. However, the doctor only wanted to do the biopsy today because with the chance that it could be cancer, that surgery would involve more. So . . . it is going to be a long weekend waiting on the test results. I feel much better today, and feel more encouraged after talking to the surgeon, who feels that the mass is just a lypoma and doesn't involve the "c" word, but we will know for sure on Monday. I would truly appreciate your prayers to continue, as he will have a more extensive surgery ahead of him. Thank you so much! Here is a pic. of my Dad being silly in recovery! I love his sense of humor!
I don't do this often, but I want to ask my blog readers (all 3 of you) to pray for my Daddy! He is having surgery on Friday and I pray that all goes well. He has a mass on his side that they are concerned about and will be having a biopsy on. If it is benign then the surgeon will go ahead and remove the mass that day. I don't even want to think about the other option - let's not talk about it. My heart can not go there right now. I am scared. I am worried. Please send up prayers for my Dad that the mass is benign and the surgery will go well. Thank you so much! I firmly believe in the power of prayer and appreciate your thoughts. So you can put a face with your prayers. . . here is a picture of the man who loves his kids and grand kids unconditionally, my supporter, my strength, my one and only Daddy!
