Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney is one of our favorite country singers!! Actually, on our first date, Tieg played one of Kenny's songs and said that he would like to sing it on his wedding day. Well, 5 years later when we got married, we were on the dance floor for our first dance, Tieg's voice came over the sound system singing "Me and You." It was incredible! He had gone and recorded the song without me knowing! So, we have always been fans of Kenny Chesney but have never been to a concert until last night!!!
We went to the Poets and Pirates tour which included Gary Allan, LeAnn Rimes, Sammy Hagar, Brooks and Dunn, and Kenny! My brother had a group going from his neighborhood so we all rode together in a limo shuttle. It was great not having to worry about parking, however, as we pulled up to Turner Field everyone was getting weather updates on their phones and the forecast didn't look good! We headed to a gate with the shortest line on the south end of the stadium to get out of the downpour. We were then sent to another gate at the other end of the stadium. After waiting in that line for about 20 minutes, we were told that we had to go to yet another gate. Apparently, since we had seats on the floor, there was a certain gate we had to enter through to get wristbands. Needless to say, after 3 bag checks, 4 lines, getting soaking wet and 40 minutes later, we made it in!! We hungout under the roof for a little bit and then headed to our seats. We missed Gary Allan since it took us so long to get inside. LeAnn Rimes was good, Sammy Hagar was a little wild, but good to see, Brooks and Dunn were great, and Kenny Chesney was incredible! Our seats were awesome - we were right at the stage and really close. We had a lot of fun! Thanks to my mom and dad for the tickets for my early birthday present!
